Remembering the Life of Former President Boniface Alexandre

The former president, Boniface Alexandre, passed away this Friday, August 4, 2023, at the age of 87. He served as both the president of the Supreme Court and the provisional president of the Republic of Haiti from 2004 to 2006. According to the report by Le Nouvelliste, he died at his home. Son of a prominent landowner, Boniface was born on July 31, 1936, in Ganthier, where he also spent his formative years.
