The regional manager of the IDB visited Haiti

The Manager of the Inter-American Development Bank for Latin America, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti, Tomas Bermudez, carried out a three-day visit to Haiti last week. This provided him with an opportunity to visit the flagship projects of the Bank currently underway in the country and discuss the prospects related to the institution's regional strategy for Haiti.

Mr. Bermudez's mission began with a meeting with the staff of the Bank in Haiti before heading to the premises of Haiti Startup Talent, an incubation project for the youth. This program, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) through the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) and implemented by the CASELI Foundation, supports new businesses and young entrepreneurs to make them ready for financing.
