The International Monetary Fund (IMF) gave a positive assessment to the Haitian authorities by approving the latest Staff Monitoring Program (SMP) review, which began in June 2022. In a statement dated June 15, the IMF praised the significant reforms adopted by the Haitian leaders within the SMP framework, in which they demonstrated a strong commitment despite a challenging domestic and external environment.
