The Ministry of National Education Launches a Master's Program in Risk and Disaster Management at UPSAC in Les Cayes

The Public University of the South in Les Cayes (UPSAC) and the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) officially launched a Master's program in Risk and Disaster Management (RDM) at the UPSAC campus on Thursday, June 1, 2023, which also marks the beginning of the hurricane season. One of the objectives of this program is to enable professionals to enhance their knowledge and increase the decision-making capacities of national institutions.

The launch took place in the presence of the Minister of National Education, Nesmy Manigat, the Rector of Quisqueya University, Jacky Lumarque, the Departmental Director of the Ministry of National Education, Jean Silvain Désir, several authorities in the department, university officials, and many students from the university.
