The rise in inflation observed in February accelerated further in March. Indeed, the General Consumer Price Index (CPI, 100 in 2017-2018), which stood at 373.6 in February, rose to 391.3 in March, thus experiencing an acceleration both on a monthly basis (4.7% compared to 3.1%) and on an annual basis (26.7% compared to 23%), reports the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI) in the March edition of its monthly section titled "The CPI Corner."
