The National Association of Haitian Media (ANMH) has learned with the utmost dismay that, in recent days, the premises of the daily newspaper Le Nouvelliste, located on Rue du Centre in Port-au-Prince, have been vandalized by unidentified individuals.

Founded in 1898, Le Nouvelliste is the dean of the Haitian press, the oldest French-language daily newspaper in the Americas, and is a founding member of the National Association of Haitian Media (ANMH).
