More than ten days after unidentified individuals vandalized the offices of Le Nouvelliste on Rue du Centre, the management of the country's oldest daily newspaper is still unable to make an accurate assessment of the damages. Due to the security situation prevailing in downtown Port-au-Prince, it is practically impossible to access the premises, said Max Chauvet, general director of Le Nouvelliste, speaking on Magik 9 this Monday, April 29, 2024.
