There's been something of a lull in kidnapping cases over the past two months. The most recent case to hit the headlines was the kidnapping of Dr Jacques Boncy, Director of the National Public Health Laboratory. In less than two years, more than fifty doctors have been kidnapped, prompting medical associations to raise their voices against this alarming trend that seemed to target healthcare professionals.
