According to municipal authorities, 12 people lost their lives this Thursday due to severe weather in Cap-Haïtien. Eleven of the victims were killed in Labori, Barrière Bouteille (south suburbs of Cap-Haïtien), where a house collapsed under heavy rains that have been battering the city for several days. The collapsed house destroyed two other houses below, resulting in the death of 11 people.
