The Secretary-General of the Senate of the Republic, Marie Nelly Verpile Boyer, was arrested this Thursday, May 2nd, following her approximately three-hour interrogation by investigating judge Merlan Bélabre, who inherited corruption cases investigated by Judge Al Duniel Dimanche, whose term as investigating judge has expired.
