Cuban volleyball player of Haitian descent, Mireya Luis, met with the Minister of Tourism

The Minister of Tourism, Guy Didier Hyppolite, met on September 13th with Cuban volleyball champion of Haitian origin, Mireya Luis, who was visiting Haiti for the first time.

The Minister of Tourism, Guy Didier Hyppolite, met on September 13th with Cuban volleyball champion of Haitian origin, Mireya Luis, who was visiting Haiti for the first time. Luis has three (3) Olympic medals and others in volleyball in 12 years, is in Haiti to see how she can promote the destination through tourism projects, sports and social events. Luis was born in Camaguey while her parents are from Les Cayes (Haiti), and is a volleyball Olympic champion who spent 18 years as a striker of her team.
