Many countries are preparing to perform at the festival which will highlight the diversity of female singers. Haitian artists and singers plan to promote Haiti's culture through music, presenting a positive image of the country abroad.
The festival aims to bring people together and showcase the talents of the participating women, their values, traditions, and know-how.

Haitian singers to take part in Women's music festival in Montreal
From July 29-31, 2016, Haiti will participate in the 5th edition of the Women's World Music Festival to be held in Montreal stated the Ministry of Culture on July 20th. According to officials, several artists will represent the country, including Misty Jean and Rutchelle Guillaume.
