Jazz aficionados and novices alike showed up for this much awaited event and they were graced with performances by Oliver Jones Trio (Canada), Thomas Siffling Trio (Germany), and Haitian All Stars Jazz (Haiti / USA).
After listening to the soothing sounds of pianist Oliver Jones accompanied by his trio, trumpet player Thomas Siffling, one of the pioneers of electronic Jazz and rising stars of the young German Jazz scene, presented the audience with a one of a kind performance, staying true to the jazzy lounge sound mixed with electric sounds
10th annual Jazzfest a success
The 10th Annual Festival de Jazz de Port-au-Prince swept through the capital on January 22nd with an unforgettable opening night at Karibe Hotel followed by an afterhours session at Asu Lounge, the hotel’s rooftop lounge.
