Proposals for the development of agribusiness in the Pacific and the Caribbean

"Effective public-private partnerships are essential to the development of agribusiness." This is what came out of the second Caribbean agro-industrial forum which took place from the 4th to the 6th of November in Barbados on the sidelines of the first Caribbean-Pacific food forum. A set of challenges facing the insular Caribbean islands and the Pacific have been identified in the course of this conference together with political authorities, leaders of farmers' organizations, academics, farmers, etc.
