The Occide Jeanty kiosk at the Champ de Mars was packed on August 21st for the opening of the twelfth edition of the Caribbean Festival of Arts (Carifesta). The audience, aware of the importance of this meeting which marks a turning point for Haiti in its relations with Caricom in particular and the wider Caribbean in general, were very enthusiastic.
