Haiti on display at Expo Milano 2015

Expo Milano 2015 was an opportunity for Haiti to project a positive image of the country. Fashion, agriculture and Haitian cuisine were highlighted on July 10th, a day especially devoted to Haiti. 150 countries were represented by a pavilion that revealed the identity, customs, traditions and above all the vision of a people. The participating countries offered attractions, shows, flavors, and displayed their expertise in the areas they know best.

Italy, the host country, offered Haiti a pavilion of 250 square meters. This pavilion has allowed Haiti to promote its identity with collaboration from Haitian designers, stylists, and ambassadors including Sybille Denis Tuat, Maguy Durce, Maelle David, Michaelle Baussan, Miko Guillaume, Daphenée Floreal, Michel Chataigne, and Maria Lucia Cadet (Malou).
