Caisse Populaire Espoir: 39 years of service in the Southeast

Caisse Populaire Espoir (Hope Credit Union) celebrated its 39th anniversary in Jacmel, on Sunday, May 3, 2015. A member of the National Association of Credit Unions (ANACAP in French), this economic entity has made progress. Located on Valiere street in the town of Jacmel, the credit union has served the Southeast department since 1976.

In 1976, it laid its foundations in La Valle de Jacmel with the support of Philippe Jules. He met with David Emmanuel, who won the sympathy of André Pierre-Louis, a merchant tailor.
