Dominican journalists meet their Haitian colleagues

On May 8th, a meeting was held at Gallerie Nader between Dominicans and Haitian journalists. About a dozen journalists were present to meet with their Haitian peers and expressed the desire, will, and enthusiasm to transmit and share information.

llJuan Bolivar Diaz, Ramon Colombo, and Magarita Cordero were among the Dominican journalists in Haiti to advocate for better relations between the two countries and create a space for sharing information between journalists from both sides of the island. Some of the journalists, having visited the country in the 80s, did not feel completely alien. They have since, according to them, forged ties with Haiti.
