Reciprocal agreement between the Centre Pen Haiti and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec

Quebecker writers Julie Huard and Jacques Adler Jean Pierre (Haitian) are the current recipients of the Residency Scholarship organized as part of a reciprocity agreement which was finalized in late 2014 between the Pen Centre Haiti, through the Georges Anglade Writers House and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), through the Quebecker Writers Union (UNEQin French).

As part of this residency exchange program Haiti/Quebec, a Quebecker writer spends six weeks at the Georges Anglade Writers House, in Port-au-Prince, and a Haitian writer resides for six weeks in Montreal (Quebec). Applications focused on poetry, adult and children's literature. Huard, also a journalist and television host at Radio-Canada, settled at the Georges Anglade Writers House at the Centre Pen Haiti located in Thomassin.
