After hatcheries and the foundation, Caribbean Harvest has its packaging plant

On March 3rd, Caribbean Harvest and Ministry of Agriculture officials inaugurated a fish packaging plant in Croix-des-Bouquets. The plant, according to executives, is the first of its kind in Haiti. This fish packing plant, according to its owner, Valentin Abe, costs five hundred thousand USD. It is a combination of private funding to the tune of two hundred fifty thousand dollars and was funded by the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund.
