This training was designed and conducted to help women and other young people in vulnerable situations, by the PADF in order to support the Haitian government in its fight for the promotion of human rights and poverty reduction in disadvantaged neighborhoods. It is also aimed to aide in the employability and professional integration of young people, while offering them specific skills relevant to the immediate needs of the labor market.

185 girls and boys from Cité Soleil are ready to enter the labor market
The Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) organized the graduation ceremony of 185 young people trained from the 8 sectors Cité Soleil on Thursday February 19th, as part of the project "Women and young people in vulnerable situations", in order to implement a community model for socio-professional empowerment. PADF officials presented these young girls and boys with their certificates and promised them their support in the process of integration into the labor market.
