On Wednesday, December 4th, at the Hinche Administrative Complex, the authorities of the Inter-Ministerial Committee for Regional Planning (CIAT in French) and the Technical Execution Unit (UTE in French) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, launched the regional development project for the Boucle Centre-Artibonite. In the works for several years, the project aims to make decentralization a reality. The objectives are the improvement of the road network, supporting the economy, and determining major production areas.
