"Ayitea" Haitian tea at Mount Holyoke College

From the 12th to the 15th of November, Hope for Haiti, an association at Mount Holyoke College, conducted a series of activities on the university campus in Massachusetts to attract the attention of students, administrative staff and faculty and raise awareness about Haiti, its culture and the various challenges facing the country.

Many young students across the world are interested in Haitian art, culture, and cuisine. This is the case of Kung Bowie, who, after studying medicine in his native country, is now in the second year of International Relations at Mount Holyoke College. Other students from Haiti, such as Lysandra Joseph, Jennifer Lamy, Moreen Tonny, Aliaha Daphnis, and Eugenie Elie, are motivated to sell a positive image of the country on campus and to encourage their colleagues to act in favor of the nation.
