The newly built school is a source of pride for Gris-Gris residents. The school, which performed well on the official national examinations, will no longer be housed in the same building.

22 years after its founding, lycee Gris-Gris, located in the first communal section of Côtes-de-Fer, is finally equipped with a modern building. President Michel Martelly, Prine Minister Laurent Lamothe, and Nesmy Manigat, Minister of National Education and Vocational Training, accompanied by other officials, inaugurated the renovated building on October 24th. The work was carried out by the Haitian firm SECOSA.
