Thirty women honored in Jacmel

Thirty professionals who contributed to Jacmel’s renaissance were honored with the "Cecile Fatima" prize on Saturday, September 20th. In the convention center opened last May, the institution Elf Global, initiator of the event in tandem with the SOEUSE foundation, presented the women who excel in eleven specific areas: education, literature, health, food, painting, crafts, tourism, music, comedy, fashion, and entrepreneurship.

"You should always pay special attention to the development of tourism. Tourism is a wealth of job creation. It affects all sectors," said Michaelle Craan upon receiving her plaque of honor. "Always keep the motto that makes us proud: Jacmel always higher!"
