"Services are better organized" at the Directorate of Immigration

Following repairs, the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE in French) is now operating at full capacity. Services have improved while the rehabilitation of the building is still unfinished. On September 8th, Reginald Delva, Minister of Interior and Territorial Collectivities announced a series of measures to revitalize services in order to better serve the population.

The flow of people who usually gathered outside the building has dropped dramatically. But inside, the waiting room is practically packed. Upstairs, taxpayers wishing to make their grievances known are in the lobby. These observations show that all services have been restored at this office which falls under the umbrella of the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Collectivities (MICT in French).
