Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe in Mirebalais for the Feat of St. Louis

On Monday, August 25, 2014, Haitian Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe visited Mirebalais on the occasion of the Feast of St. Louis. This visit allowed him to inquire about progress of certain projects in the city and realize certain promises made to the people on the occasion of the "Gouvènman an lakay ou" on April 26th.

Once in Mirebalais, the Prime Minister met with local and religious authorities at the parsonage adjoining the cathedral. He then went to the military base and after that, he visited a craft fair organized for the occasion. "I wanted to visit the various craftsmen to encourage domestic production. If they find the necessary support, they will be able to succeed in the country,” he said.
