Copyright: a wealth of enrichment for the Haitian cultural industry

The Haitian Copyright Bureau (BHDA in French) organized a two-day seminar on "Copyright and the Music Business". On July 15th and 16th, Emmelie Prophète, BHDA Director, handed the microphone over to Willems Edouard, a lawyer specializing in copyright and related rights, and also a BHDA consultant. Edward focused on the implications of this field of study and the countless enrichment opportunities missed by stakeholders of the Haitian cultural industry. An industry that is almost non-existent in view of its operating mode.
