Haitians designated as ambassadors of the Francophonie

Five young Haitians attended the 4th Annual Forum of Young Ambassadors of the Francophoneieof the Americas held in Canada June 23 to 30, 2014. Joining other young people from 17 countries in the Americas, they were trained and then appointed Francophonie ambassadors.

Fifty young people from 17 countries in America, including Brazil, Cuba, Guadeloupe, Martinique, the USA, Chile, and Haiti were present at the 4th edition of the forum which was held at Winnipeg University in Manitoba. The Haitian delegation, composed of Lounès Félicin, Uel Davidson Olivier, Herrick Dessources, Sandy Antoine, Alexandra Vanessa Destin Pierre, and Dimitrove Lubin, was the second-largest group after the Quebec delegation.
