Laurent Lamothe and Ban Ki-moon launched the national sanitation campaign

On July 14th, Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary General of the UN, accompanied by Haitian Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, launched the national sanitation campaign in Los Palmas, a small town of Hinche in the Central Department. Through this campaign, the United Nations is strongly committed alongside the Haitian government to eradicate once and for all this epidemic.

Never before has Los Palmas, a small remote town in the Central Department, hosted so many important people in one day.
