Accompanied by U.S. General John Kelly, President Michel Martelly visited the South on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. During this tour, President Martelly visited the Center for Emergency Operation Centre (EOC in French) located in the town of Fonfrède in Les Cayes. A project initiated under the administration of former President René Préval and funded by the U.S. government. President Martelly took the opportunity to thank the American partners for their support of the Haitian government, in the context of infrastructure projects. The President als
