One day to promote the rights of Haitian women

Dozens of women from diverse backgrounds marked their presence this past Thursday, April 3rd, at the local sports center in Carrefour to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the National Day for Haitian Women. This activity was organized in the framework of the fight against all forms of violence against women and to assist victims of the earthquake of January 12, 2010.

Parallel to the March 8th, World Women's Day, April 3rd has since 1986, marked the National Day for Haitian Women.
