The next training session for the 600 versatile community health agents (ASCP in French) has been launched. This session, is a step to reach the goal of 10,414 ASCP as elaborated in the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) plan to reinforce national health policy. A new training session will be held for about 600 community health workers in many areas. In inaccessible areas like Médor in the mountains of L’ Artibonite, the agent is sometimes the first contact with the health system.
